The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that a journalist was among the injured, who was hit by a rubber bullet in the shoulder during the clashes, which broke out this morning on the northern entrance to El Bireh, near Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank. Two other Palestinians were injured by live fire from Israeli troops during clashes with protesters in the north of the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Health Minister.

Ministry spokesman, Ashraft Al Kedra, said the protesters were struck by bullets fired by the Israeli army against protesters east of Beit Hanoun.
