Andre Van Eymeren

(MENAFN- The Conversation) Andre Van Eymeren is an experienced consultant, trainer and practitioner in community development. For the past 20 years he has worked with a number of different communities around Australia, predominantly in lower socio-economic areas. Andre has extensive experience working alongside local governments, schools, faith groups and the not for profit sector. His work has included: community research; organisational reviews; planning and network facilitation; the co-creation of a rooming house accord and report into rooming houses in the City of Greater Dandenong; broadcasting on radio; helping to organise community wide celebrations; starting two not for profits aimed at improving local and broader communities; teaching on community development; and he has even co-authored articles on relational workplaces and the role of passion in work. Most recently Andre has completed his first book, where he explores community development from a faith perspective, an adaption of his Masters thesis. He is also a PhD student at Swinburne University. Andre lives on a mixed tenure housing estate in Fitzroy, an inner city suburb of Melbourne with his wife Amy and their 18 year old son Josh.
