Israel is a 'terrorist state': Tayyip Erdogan
(MENAFN)Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday promised to use "all means to fight" against the US recognition of occupied Jerusalem as Israeli capital describing Israel as a "terrorist state".
"Palestine is an innocent victim ... As for Israel, it is a terrorist state, yes, terrorist!" Erdogan stated in the central city of Sivas.
"We will not abandon [occupied] Jerusalem to the mercy of a state that kills children." He said.
Erdogan called Trump's announcement "null and void", saying the status of the city, whose eastern sector Palestinians see as the capital of their future state, is a "red line" for Muslims.
