House speaker amends agenda of today's session
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Dec. 10 (Petra)--Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament Atef Tarawneh amended the agenda of Sunday's House session to focus on the repercussions of the US president's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and move the US Embassy to the city.
Tarawneh said the House is following up on this issue with all parties including Arab and international parliamentary associations and councils. He urged the deputies to present proposals on this issue to take an appropriate decision on them.
Earlier, a number of deputies called for amending the agenda of today's session to discuss the issue of Jerusalem.
