(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Dec. 10 (Petra)-Jordan on Sunday welcomed announcement of the Iraqi cabinet the country's military has fully liberated all of Iraq's territories from the terrorist Daesh group.
The Minster of State for Media Affairs and Government Spokesperson, Mohammed al-Momani, hailed unequivocal efforts of Iraqi armed forces in countering this heinous gang and ditching our east neighbor of its criminal deeds.
He voiced Jordan's unwavering support to Iraq to fight terrorism and its flagrant factions, and reiterated the Kingdom's firm stance to counter terrorism that targets Iraq, the entire region, and world as well.
He stressed the dire need to orchestrate regional and global efforts to fight this phenomenon and tackle its root causes from all aspects, whether they be financial, ideological and security-driven.
" The lack of justice creates a fertile ambience to propagate extremist ideologies," he added, and highlighted the latest developments on the Palestinian cause, with eye to Jerusalem, saying this signals importance of the holy city to Arabs, Muslims, Christians, peace-loving people alike.
Earlier the Iraqi prime minister officially announced his country wrapped up the campaign to eradicate Daesh.
