Alert: Warning of rough sea, strong winds in UAE today


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said that the weather in UAE on Sunday will be partly cloudy in general and hazy at times.

The convective cloud amount will increase at times, especially towards west. Moderate winds may freshen at times, with the chance of blowing dust over exposed areas and strong at times over the sea.

The weather department has also issued a warning of the rough sea over the Arabian Gulf offshore from 9 am today.

The relative humidity will increase during night and early morning over some internal areas, may mist form.

- ?????? ?????? ??????? (@NCMS_media) Maximum temperatures will surge to 28C in the internal areas land, with lows of 11C expected in the mountains. Humidity levels could be as high as 90 per cent in the coastal and internal areas.

Seas will be rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and moderate in general in the Sea of Oman.

Earlier on Saturday, light to heavy rainfall was reported in various parts of the UAE.
