Qatar- NAMA Center honours staff and employees

NAMA Center, one of Qatar Foundation for Social Work's (QFSW) affiliated centres, has recently held its annual closing ceremony to honour the center's staff and employees.

It is a recognition of their outstanding efforts and achievements over the past year in achieving the Center's strategic goals in the field of human development and in investing the potential of youth to assume their role in Qatar's economic and social development,

On this occasion, Maryam bint Abdullatif Al Mannai, Acting Executive Manager of NAMA Center, said: 'The annual meeting of the ‘NAMA family' on this special occasion as much as dear to our hearts in a fun atmosphere away from formalities is like an act of solidarity and our oath to achieve the strategic objectives of the Center to promote youth human resources in Qatar and empower them to assume their pioneering role in the process of community and economic development, as well as in contributing to the realisation of the Qatar National Vision 2030.

'This year is an important turning point because it is the year in which we transformed our vision from focusing on family development, especially low-income ones, to an ambitious vision aimed at building younger generations and contributing to the creation of Qatar's future and realizing its vision.

'This would not have been possible if it had not been for everyone's unity and the endless passion of all members of ‘our family' to accept the challenge, move forward, take responsibility, and overcome the odds in order to turn them into achievements and opportunities that speak for themselves.

The ceremony witnessed many events, which started by welcoming the staff with a speech that expressed the Center's pride in them.

The ‘lucky employee' competition also took place, and was followed by a brief video about the achievements of NAMA Center this year. Maryam bint Abdullatif Al Mannai honoured the employees for long standing service. The ceremony was followed by a series activities that brought life to the occasion.

NAMA Center offers many initiatives, programs and practical courses targeting youth in various fields. It also meets the requirements of Startups entrepreneurs and provide them with all kinds of moral, financial, consultative and logistical support to help them achieve their aspirations, towards serving the community.
