(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- H H Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers on Saturday received Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Emir of Qatar and his accompanying delegation.
The Emir of Qatar visited Oman to condole the death of H H Sayyid Turki bin Mahmoud al Said.
In his meeting with Sayyid Fahd, the Emir of Qatar expressed deepest condolences on the death of Sayyid Turki.
Sayyid Fahd thanked the Emir of Qatar and his accompanying delegation for the visit.
The funeral was attended by members of the Royal Family, their excellencies and high ranking officials.
During the visit, Sheikh Tamim was accompanied by Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani, Prime Minister and the Minister of Interior; Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa bin Hamad al Thani, the Emir's personal representative; Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al Thani, head of the Emiri Diwan; Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad al Thani and Sheikh Thani bin Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani.
