Astad, Haeahn Architecture sign MoU to promote bilateral ties


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Astad recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Haeahn Architecture to identify mutual business opportunities that encourages further collaboration between Qatari and South Korean engineers in design and project management.
The agreement sets new horizons for cooperation in comprehensive design services, ensuring quality project design while meeting the highest standards.
It paves the way for bilateral cooperation and joint strategic objectives aimed at exploring markets and directing efforts towards viable building and infrastructure projects on an international level.
Elaborating on the partnership, Astad chief executive officer Ali al-Khalifa said, 'This allows us to collaboratively deliver expert design and project management services not just in Qatar, but internationally.
Astad and Haeahn are specialists in our respective fields and markets and this MoU will support the continued growth and success of both of our companies.
During the visit, several meetings and site visits were held, where the team visited the Incheon port to see the best solutions in food security in addition to visiting the Central Market in Seoul, which is considered one of the most modern markets in Asia.
Astad has managed and delivered some of Qatar's most complex building and infrastructure projects in various sectors of the construction industry.
They have covered education, healthcare, sports, culture, commercial, residential and transport, bringing together all the necessary components required to build a booming nation with a bright future to look forward to.
Haeahn Architecture is recognised as one of South Korea's leading Architecture firms providing professional design services across multiple project sectors and global locations.
Astad has been furthering their collaborative efforts with Haeahn, to fulfil the complex design requirements of projects in Qatar and internationally, including their work this year on Qatar Rail's Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Project, which was designed with the collaborative efforts of Qatari and South Korean engineers.
The design work includes two TOD project locations Hamad Hospital and Rayyan Al Qadeem.
