Kuwait- 30 cartons of liquor robbed from Embassy

(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Dec 9 : A foreign embassy in Kuwait has lodged a formal complaint about the theft of 30 cartons of liquor from its premises, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting informed sources. They explained that the embassy staff discovered the theft which they believe took place one of the nights last week, along with the theft of funds from the embassy.

Suspicions are currently around some employees, and a demand was made to open an investigation with these employees and if proven, force them to return what they stole. The sources said they are expecting the prosecutor to open a file and take a relevant decision in this regard, especially since the import of liquor in the country is forbidden and the stock that embassies get is very limited.
