ABU DHABI, 9th December 2017 (WAM) - Under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the orders of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Executive Council, the Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM) has started the allocation of 2310 residential plots online to UAE citizens listed in the Royal Decree.
Saif Badr Al Qubaisi, Director General of Abu Dhabi City Municipality, expressed his gratitude and thanks to the UAE leadership for its commitment to provide a decent living to citizens.
"Our leadership is making countless bounties and is keen to follow the path set by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan calling for providing a decent life for citizens as it effectively contributes to family and social stability. It will also help in promoting social and sustainable development.
"Allah has blessed the UAE with leaders that make utmost endeavours to serve their citizens, fulfil their needs, and promote their living standards. The orders of allocating residential plots and houses came in conjunction with our celebrations of the UAE National Day, which has doubled the joy of citizens. These orders affirm that the UAE is continuing its approach of empowerment and stability, and striving to consolidate the values, principles and objectives of the Union highlighted by the present and future living of citizens," added Al Qubaisi.
The Abu Dhabi City Municipality has confirmed that it has already begun the process of allocating residential plots to citizens electronically, pointing out that there is no need for the citizens to attend to the Municipality's headquarters to complete the allocation process.
The introduction of the online allocation of land plots is part of the endeavours of Urban Planning and Municipalities Department - Abu Dhabi City Municipality to achieve a quantum leap in the digital transformation of services, bring happiness to customers, fulfil their aspirations and make services accessible.
Within ten working days, the Municipality would notify citizens who have been allocated with residential plots in order to save their effort and time.
Citizens listed in the land plots allocation decree and those wishing to obtain the land layout or title deed to submit their applications through the website of the Abu Dhabi City Municipality (dmat.abudhabi.ae). The Municipality will immediately process their applications electronically.
