ABU DHABI, 9th December, 2017 (WAM) -- Manarat Al Saadiyat brought in the weekend with MASmash, an evening jam-packed with creativity and arts including comedy, parkour, music, and dance for the whole family. Part of the new programming at Manarat Al Saadiyat, MASmash was devised to introduce families and art enthusiasts to the range of exciting artistic and cultural initiatives that will be part of the revolving weekly schedule at the venue.
Attended by Mohammed Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and Saif Saeed Ghobash, Director-General of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, MASmash was a hit with families and people of all ages, providing an engaging and energetic event for the weekend.
Artists and performers included DJ Karrouhat and Turkish artist DoseArt, demonstrations by the Parkour DXB team, hula hoop art by Flowground, hip hop artists Slam Fam, the UAE beatbox champion Ray, musician N1yah, the ever-eclectic performance artist Jumairy, music by GoPlayTheWorld, enchanting dance performances by Sima Performing Arts, comedian Ali Al Sayed, rappers Flipp and Daffy, and Kuwaiti rap and hip hop artists Sons of Yusuf.
