Katie Couric: allegations made against Matt Lauer are "incredibly upsetting"
(MENAFN) Amid misconduct allegations made against Matt Lauer, Katie Couric spoke out about her former "Today" show co-host in describing the accusations as "incredibly upsetting."
After someone on Instagram raised the question of her not reacting about the accusations, Couric responded "it's incredibly upsetting and I will say something when I'm ready to. Thanks for your interest."
Prior to Couric departing the show in 2006 in order to assume the position of an anchor on the "CBS Evening News," she has been Lauer's colleague for 15 years.
