Air Wing rescued 3 persons during UAE National Day


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Aircrafts of the Abu Dhabi Police's Air Wing have rescued three persons, two men and a girl after sustaining injuries in three separate accidents during the National Day holidays.

Air Wing operations room was notified by the command and control center at Abu Dhabi Police that a traffic accident took place at Al Khazna area in the outskirts of the Capital.

An Air Wing helicopter moved to the place where a 50-year-old Pakistani man was found in serious condition following a crash between two motor vehicles on Abu Dhabi-Al Ain road. He was quickly flown to Al Mafraq to get treatment.

Operations room was also tipped during the National Day break that a traffic accident occurred at Seeh Shoaib neighborhood, and an ambulance chopper was sent to the venue where a 26-year-old Pakistani man sustained serious fractures when two motor vehicles collided on Abu Dhabi-Dubai highway. He was airlifted to Al Rahba hospital, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit.

In the third accident which took place at Sweihan area. A helicopter of the Air Wing was moved to the place, where it appeared that an Emirati girl was hurt in an accident. She was flown to Al Mafraq Hospital.
