Russian pres. to visit Turkey Mon.
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ANKARA, Dec 8 (KUNA) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to pay an official visit to Ankara on Monday, according to Turkey's presidential spokesman.
Putin's visit comes at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Ibrahim Kal?n was quoted by Anadolu News Agency as saying.
During his stay in Ankara, the Russian leader will hold talks with Erdogan on regional and global issues, including recent developments of the Jerusalem issue, as well as the current situation in Syria, he added.
Both leaders last met in Russia's coastal city of Sochi on November 22, where they held peace talks on Syria as the three guarantor countries, with Iran. (end) rs.mt
