(MENAFN- Arab Times) A stable used as a boat factory
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 5: Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) launched a campaign at Kabad stables to curb violating breeders and people who misuse stables for unauthorized activities, and to ensure rules and regulations applied in Kabad stables are followed.
The campaign was headed by Director General of Livestock Resources and Director of Livestock Production Department Dr. Ali Al-Qattan and held with the cooperation of and in coordination with Ministry of Interior.
It resulted in the detection of several violations such as the use of the stables as boat factories, blacksmith and metalwork factories, warehouses etc, and the trend of leasing them to others. Dr Al-Qattan affirmed that PAAAFR conducts periodical inspections of stables affiliated to the authority as well as forms committees to investigate violations. He said, 'In the event of non compliance with regulations and failure to deal with violations, the authority will take necessary legal measures and withdraw the plots'. He warned violators that the authority will not be lax in this regard.
