SHARJAH, 5th December, 2017 (WAM) -- H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has attended the 10th-anniversary celebrations of the Victoria International School in Sharjah.
During the event, the ruler of Sharjah congratulated the school administration, parents and students on the institution's establishment anniversary.
H.H. said, "When I was in Australia, I decided to set up a school with the same Victorian education system, and I began looking for the secret of quality and excellence in this school. So I walked among classes for a long time," and I found that the school provided knowledge with happiness, and this was the best way to teach. When I returned from Australia, I worked to sign an agreement with them and started building the school. Now, ten years have passed, and I would like to congratulate everyone on this momentous achievement."
In a speech during the ceremony, Dean Bahria, Principal of Victoria International School in Sharjah, thanked H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi for his interest in developing educational systems via cooperation between the Government of Victoria in Australia and the Emirate of Sharjah.
