Pakistan- Gas outages spark protest in Hangu


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) HANGU: Residents of Hangu city staged a protest demonstration and blocked Hangu-Kohat Road for traffic for three hours against gas load-shedding.

The protesters chanted slogans against the government and concerned authorities for subjecting the consumers to gas outages.

They protesters said that gas load-shedding began in morning and evening times when they need it more due to which they have been facing immense problems.

The protesters threatened the government to launch a protest drive if the load-shedding was not controlled.

They dispersed after Maulana Abdul Jalil held negotiation with deputy commissioner who assured that he would convince the authorities to ensure smooth supply of gas.
