Saudis condemns any possible US recognition on Jerusalem
(MENAFN)Saudi Arabia has affirmed its situation against any possible US recognition of transferring Israeli regime's capital to occupied Jerusalem.
Although Saudi Arabia could help the White House push through a Middle East settlement, since it is an important regional powerhouse, it actually expressed its "grave and deep concern" about such a possible recognition.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement on the state-run Saudi Press Agency on Tuesday that the kingdom pointed out the eligibility of the occupied Jerusalem that is given to the Palestinian people, saying it "cannot be changed."
The statement showed how bad this recognition would be and warned that this step would "provoke sentiments of Muslims throughout world."
