(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) VIENNA, DEC 5 (KUNA) -- The OPEC daily basket price fell by 30 cents to USD 61.41 per barrel (pb) on Monday, compared with USD 61.71 pb on Friday, the OPEC said on Tuesday.
It added that the average monthly rate of the OPEC basket in November was USD 60.74 pb, compared with USD 55.50 pb in October. Thus, the rate hit USD 61.71 pb since the beginning of the year till last week.
The average annual rate of the basket, in 2016, hit USD 40.76 pb, it added.
OPEC's Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Saharan Blend (Algeria), Iran Heavy (Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE), Merey (Venezuela), Girassol (Angola), and Oriente (Ecuador).
