QPM conducts training for Risk Management exam


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Project Management has conducted an in-house preparation training course for Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) exam, organised by QPM's Administration Department at its headquarters recently.
The training aims to qualify QPM staff on how to identify, analyse, and address project risks by calculating the probability of the occurrence and the impact of risk. It discussed the impact of identified risks on the company business or the objectives of the project. It also determined ways to address negative risks and how to benefit from positive opportunities.
The course also aims to prepare company employees for the PMI-RMP exam certification. In addition, participants will be able to develop project risk management plans and update risk registers. It also aims to assist participants in carrying out qualitative and quantitative risk analysis to implement the appropriate risk response.
PMI-RPM-certified professionals are considered as highly-qualified risk specialists who are capable of professionally-managing risks in projects.
The course was presented by engineer Waleed Abdul Rahman, expert in risk management. The session witnessed a positive interaction with participants. The trainees said they were satisfied with the methodology used in the training sessions, as well as with the knowledge they have gained during the course.
