Kuwait, Rabi'I 16, 1439 H., December 04, 2017, SPA -- The 144th session of GCC Foreign Ministers meeting started here today.
The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the meeting is headed by Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubair.
In the opening speech, Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah stressed the importance of the GCC meetings to continue cooperation and joint action to serve the interests of the GCC people and to meet the challenges that threaten the security and stability of the region.
During the opening speech, Sheikh Sabah welcomed the GCC foreign ministers and the delegations.
The GCC Foreign Ministers meeting is a preparatory meeting for the 38th session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to be held on Tuesday and Wednesday.
