Protesters to the US President: 'Go Home Trump'

(MENAFN) One day ahead of President Trump visit to Utah State Capitol in order to declare his decision to shrink more than two national monuments, "Go Home Trump" was spelled out on the lawn of the state by protesters.

According to The Salt Lake Tribune, protesters of 113 people in white jumpsuits all gathered to form the message Sunday on the state capitol lawn.

The Tribune was informed by the organizer of the movement Cat Palmer that she aimed for the people's voices to be heard given their concern of not being represented in the federal government, she also explained that she was motivated by Sen. Jim Dabakis to carry out the protest.

Palmer clarified to The Tribune "we don't have somebody representing our voices right now, right? That's a problem. Sometimes when we feel helpless we make art hoping our voices will be heard." She further added "it's an outlet for people. It's therapeutic...because we are feeling lost right now."
