(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DOHA, Dec 2 (KUNA) -- The latest developments in Palestine were covered in a telephone conversation conducted between Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim Al-Thani and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Saturday.
The two leaders also shared views on several regional and international issues of common concern, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
Abbas briefed Sheikh Tamim on the developments pertaining to risks posed to Jerusalem, and measures needed to protect the city as well as Muslim and Christian sanctities, the agency said.
Abbas expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Tamim for Qatar's continued support for the Palestinian people and their fair cause, it noted. (end) nnd.hm
