
Pakistan- PM responsible for delay in Fata Reforms, Sajid Turi
Talking to reporters here, the legislator claimed that the PM had promised them extending jurisdiction of the Supreme Court and Peshawar High Court and setting up of local government system to Fata.
He said that the PM has reneged on his promises as no progress has been made so far in this regard. "The Fata Reforms Committee's report has sailed through National Assembly as well as debated in Senate," he said.
he added that even the cabinet has approved it but awaiting PM signature and President of Pakistan approval. The MNA claimed that MNAs from Fata were on same page and demand immediate merger with Khyber Pakthunkhwa, adding that the welcoming news was that youth of Fata have awakened and demanding their constitutional rights.
