Kuwait partakes in Vienna's annual int'l bazaar
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) VIENNA, Dec 2 (KUNA) -- Kuwait on Saturday participated in an annual international charity bazaar organized by UN women's society in Vienna, Austria.
Some revenues of the event are allocated to charitable and humanitarian actions in the African Continent.
The Kuwaiti pavilion attracted many visitors, as it includes distinguished items like traditional costumes, foodstuffs, Arabic coffee with its distinctive taste and souvenirs.
Kuwait's participation in the annual bazaar comes within the framework of continued keenness by Kuwait's Ambassador to Austria and its Permanent Representative at International Organizations in Vienna, Sadeq Marafi, on contribution to backing various international forums and events organized in Austria, especially this Bazaar.
The country's participation is also the culmination of its distinguished presence during the past years.
The Kuwaiti Embassy, in Vienna, made preparations for this event, thanks to efforts of all participants in organizing the pavilion in a manner that reflects the country's status and reputation.
The pavilions of Arab countries partaking in the event offered several and varied products, including traditional industries, heritage clothing, antiques and other items. (end) amg.hm
