Israel launches air strike on military target near Damascus
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Damascus, Dec 2 (Petra) –– Israeli warplanes launched missiles on a military site near the Syrian capital Damascus on Friday night, but there were no reports of casualties, according to Syrian media.
The official Syrian news agency SANA, citing well-informed sources, said Syrian anti-aircraft defences encountered the aircraft, which fired missiles on the military position in rural Damascus.
The official Syrian Al Ikhbariyah TV channel reported that the air raid resulted in material damage to the site.
