OIC and Italy sign Good Intent Declaration

Jeddah, Rabi'I 14, 1439 H., December 02, 2017, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen and Italy's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Venosnos Amendola have signed a declaration of good intent on cooperation between the two parties.
The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the Euro-Mediterranean dialogue conference.
Cooperation between the two sides will focus on a number of issues, including dialogue among the youths and among religions.
During the meeting, they tackled a wide-range of issues including the latest developments in Palestine, armed disputes in the region as well as the situations of Muslim minorities in Europe and combating terrorism and extremism.
