Police College participates in Doha International Book Fair

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Police College is participating in the activities of the 28th Doha International Book Fair, which is being held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre until December 5.
The participation is in keeping with the Police College's keenness to participate in all scientific and cultural events held in the country, according to a statement by the Ministry of Interior (MoI). The Police College pavilion includes various works of scientific literature published by the college, the statement notes.
HE the Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem al-Ali, who opened the book fair on Wednesday, was briefed by officials on the collection of books, publications and scientific research, in addition to a large number of publications of the MoI and the college.
'This is the third time that the Police College is taking part in the Doha International Book Fair, said Captain Ahmed Khalifa al-Sayed, head of the research and studies department at the Police College.
He noted that the pavilion contains 44 scientific publications as well as doctoral dissertations, scientific research and studies in various police and legal sciences.
