Kuwait- Over 100 workers in 22 illusory companies

(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Nov 29: KUWAIT CITY, Nov 29: General Public Relations and Media Security Department stated that efforts of officers from the General Residency Affairs Department yielded fruit when they discovered 22 illusory companies registering some 104 laborers under their sponsorship. Statement added Residency Affairs Personnel received information that several companies with valid commercial licenses had registered extra laborers under their sponsorship, although they're without activity. Investigation revealed that all companies in question were false.

They have since been banned from renewing or issuing residences or work permits under their names. Residency Affairs Sector has also informed the Labor Inspection Department affiliated to Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor to take necessary action against them.
