Weekend weather: Clouds, mist to take over UAE


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Fog and mist covered Liwa and Al Ain regions on Wednesday morning, with cloudy, hazy conditions set to continue over the weekend.

- ?????? ?????? ??????? (@NCMS_media) The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology expects the weather in the UAE to be partly cloudy in general and hazy at times with a slight cloud formation at times over some areas.

Moderate winds over land will becomefreshening at times, especially over the Arabian Gulf, and will cause rising dust and poor visibility over exposed areas during daytime.

"The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and tomorrow early morning, with a probability of fog/mist formation over some internal areas," the statement added.

The highest temperature recorded over the country on Tuesday was 31.1C inMezaira at 2:15pm, while the lowest temperature recorded today morning was 9.9C inMeberh mountain at 4:45am.

(@NCMS_media) Light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times during the afternoon and may cause blowing dust over some exposed areas.The relative humidity is likely to increase during the night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of mist formation, especially over the west.

Sea will be slight to moderate becoming rough by afternoon in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.

Over the long weekend, the weather will be humid over internal areas and partly cloudy. Clouds could take over the coastal and eastern areas and it will be hazy over western areas.
