A friendly Cricket match was organised byOne India Association (OIA), affiliated to ICC under the aegis of Indian Embassy to Qatar at GEMS Wakra on November 24 between OIA UP and QKR of Bengal teams.
The toss was won by Bengal Team and they elected to field first. In the allotted 14 overs UP team managed to score 116 runs, thus giving the target of 117 runs to QKR of Bengal.
In a day night match, UP team won the match by the margin of 34 runs.
Highlights of the match included wonderful all-round performances by Bhanu Dhawan, Kulbeer Singh, Kajal Bhattacharya, Akmal Khan, Zoheb Aslam, Raju Yadav and Kashif Habeeb.
