(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Nov 28 (KUNA) -- Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz on Tuesday discussed with lawmakers the contents of a letter he received from His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Presiding over the Saudi Cabinet's weekly meeting, King Salman and the executive body reviewed the recently-concluded meeting of defense ministers of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition, where more than 40 Islamic nations vowed to work as a cohesive unit to fight terrorism.

The Saudi Cabinet also touched on a spate of significant meetings that had taken place, including a gathering of Syrian opposition groups in Riyadh and the 33rd session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC) in Istanbul.

Meanwhile, the Saudi ministers condemned in equal measure a string of "terrorist attacks" targeting Egypt, Iraq, and Nigeria, all of which left scores of people dead or wounded. (end) mdm.nam
