Arab League appeals for urgent relief aid to Yemen

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Cairo, Nov 28 (Petra) –– The Arab League Tuesday called for mobilizing international efforts to send urgent humanitarian relief aid to war-torn Yemen.

Arab League spokesman Mahmoud Afifi pointed to the humanitarian tragedy in Yemen due to deteriorating living and health conditions, particularly the suffering of children and the elderly, as a result of the ongoing conflict.
