2016 highlights include:

Univar reduced its total carbon emissions by 3.02% from 2015, a 15.15% reduction per metric ton dispatched.

The Company reduced total energy use by 7.85%, with 42,898 MWh less used in 2016 than the prior year, saving the power equivalent of shutting down a medium-capacity coal power plant for 3.5 days.

Univar achieved a Total Case Incident Rate (TCIR) of 0.68 injuries per 200,000 hours worked, improving by nearly 30 percent over the prior record-setting year for safety.
