Islamic coalition to enhance military capabilities against terrorism
(MENAFN)Top defense officials from the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) on Sunday planned find ways to improve military capabilities in order to confront extremist organizations and curb terrorism.
They also pointed out the importance of cooperation to diminish funding to terror groups, and agreed to empower the media by investing in digital platforms to confront extremist ideology and propaganda, at a high-profile conference in Riyadh.
IMCTC Ministers of Defense Council's maiden meeting was inaugurated by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Sunday under the slogan "Allied against terrorism".
He started his speech by pledging to "pursue terrorists until they are wiped from the face of the earth."
