Range Rover and Jaguar join Takata airbag recollecting in Australia
(MENAFN) Over 17,000 Jaguar and Range Rover vehicles were included in the Takata airbag recall in Australia.
The fatal Takata airbags have already caused a death in Sydney, and a severe injury to anther in Darwin.
Takata airbags are installed into over a dozen car brands, like Honda, Nissan, Mazda and Toyota.
Over 100m cars have been returned globally, but only 950,000 of the affected vehicles in Australia have replaced their airbags.
Until now, Honda has the maximum clearance rate, replacing 80% of its 650,000 affected cars' airbags.
