(MENAFN) Military officials said US troops have targeted and killed a chief member of IS group in a raid in Syria.
In detail, the raid conducted near the town of Mayadin in eastern war-torn Syria.
The killed commander, called Abdurakhmon Uzbeki, who was believed to be from Uzbekistan.
Tt is said by the Americans that he is a close associate of the IS leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
