Two Kuwaitis win two gold medals in Geneva Exhibition of Inventions


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GENEVA, March 31 (KUNA) -- Two Kuwaiti inventors have won two gold medals in the annual Geneva Exhibition of Inventions for an invention to reduce power of coastal wave shocks on beaches.

The State of Kuwait is taking part in the event with two teams including students and teachers.

The event includes some 725 exhibitors from 40 countries gathering in Geneva for the 45th edition of the world's largest inventors' fair dedicated to new creations. At least 1,000 inventions are showcased.

The exhibition kicked off on March 29 and runs until April 2.

Exhibition press officer Gerard Sermier said that the event features many people from China, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iran and other countries.

One of the Kuwaiti teams include Abdulrahman Al-Jassem, Ahmad Al-Enezi and Mohammad Al-Hazza. The other team consists of Talal Al-Shahab, Ahmad Al-Matrouk and Khaled Al-Kooh. (end) ta.hm
