Swiss police investigate protests sign for Killing Erdogan
(MENAFN) Swiss police said that they are investigating if the protest sign calling for the killing of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is considered as violating laws against inciting violence.
People had protested in Bern, Switzerland against Erdogan's plans to extend powers held up a sign reading "Kill Erdogan with his own weapons" and pictures showed a pistol aimed at his head.
Erdogan earlier had accused Germany and Netherlands of Nazi-style tactics for preventing rallies supporting his proposed new powers.
However, Bern police spokesman said prosecutors would determine whether Swiss law was violated by the sign.
