(MENAFN) According to a new report, Algeria has ranked 134 out of 135 countries in terms of fixed internet speed.
The report issued by the Speed Test website for May 2018 said that the fixed broadband speed in Algeria is only 3.86 Mbps right before Venezuela which has 3.81 Mbps.
Despite suffering political and security turmoil Libya came ahead of Algeria with a broadband speed of 7.46 Mbps ranking 126 globally.
Algeria also ranked 121 out of 125 countries in terms of mobile internet speed, while Morocco ranks 72 and Tunisia 71 in this field.
