(MENAFN) On Sunday, at least two primary school pupils were killed by a bomb explosion in central Dhi Qar governorate, Bas News reported.
According to Iraqi media outlets, a planted bomb went off in front of a primary school in Al Nasriyah.
The two victims were taken to the forensic department.
No sides have so far claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack.
Since the collapse of the former Baath regime in 2003, violations against the national army and civilians have drastically increased, while the Iraqi government has not been able to secure the country properly.
