Kuwait takes part in Arab judicial meetings in Cairo


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, April 22 (KUNA) -- A Kuwaiti judicial delegation has taken part in ongoing meetings of the Union of Arab Courts and Constitutional Courts currently hosted by the Egyptian capital.
Justice Yousef Al-Mutawaa, chief of the Kuwaiti Constitutional Court and Court of Cassation, told KUNA on Sunday that his delegation had taken part in the fourth meeting of the union executive bureau, preparing for the general assembly, approving final accounts, a proposed budget and examining the federation activities.
Participants in the bureau meeting tackled various administrative issues and problems facing courts in Arab countries.
The union is holding three days of meetings, involving delegations from 13 Arab countries including Kuwait.
The chief judge Al-Mutawaa is accompanied by a number of colleagues in the field. (end) ms.rk
