Gulf Engineering Union offers two Kuwaitis engineering pioneers prizes

(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MANAMAH, Feb 21 (KUNA) -- The General Secretariat of Gulf Engineering Union announced on Wednesday offering two Kuwaitis engineering pioneers prizes in recognition to their remarkable contributions to Gulf joint engineering work.

Assistant Undersecretary for Engineering Affairs at Amiri Diwan Neyaz Khajah and Director General of Kuwait Municipality Ahmad Al-Manfouhi received the prizes during the opening ceremony of the 21st session of Gulf Engineering Forum organized by Gulf Engineering Union in cooperation with Bahrain Society of Engineers and held in Bahrain today.

The two-day event is held under the theme of "Conflicts in engineering projects and means to solve them".

Khajah in remarks to KUNA today expressed her thanks to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Minister of Amiri Diwan, and others for offering the engineering department at the Amiri Diwan the opportunity of managing and implementing developmental projects.

The event kicked off today to tackle means of solving engineering conflicts in various sectors, like Urban development projects, infrastructure projects, and oil projects besides many others. (end)
