Turkey arrests 786 people for condemning Syria attack

(MENAFN) The number of arrested people who opposed Turkish army attack in northern Syria rose to 786 in the country.

Kurdish politicians and doctors, who raised awareness about the threat on human lives in Turkish offensives, are among the detained.

Turkey has declared the attack on January 20 in order to overcome the Afrin of Syrian Kurdish militia, which it believes to be a part of outlawed Kurdish revolutionaries inside Turkey.

Over 587 issues of network "propaganda" and 85 protests appeared in 29 days, an Interior Ministry stated.
