Oman Gas Co. partners with banks to raise USD1bn bridge loan


(MENAFN) Sources have reported Oman Gas Co. to have built a partnership with a number of banks, aiming to generate a little more than a USD1 billion bridge loan.

Sources also confirmed the company to be planning to invest the money for capex purposes as well as buying assets from the government.

Loan negotiations, a source reported, are standing at an initial phase with "a lot of building blocks" still required ahead of its completion.

The company was reported to be cooperating with various banks that include Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Bank Muscat, Natixis and JPMorgan.
