Turkey witness 10.3 percent decline in unemployment rates


(MENAFN) Turkish statistical authority has revealed a 1.8 percent year-on-year decline in unemployment rates in 2017 November from the previous year during the same period.

According to TurkStat, unemployment rates have settled at 10.3 percent, with a 440,000 million decrease on a yearly basis as the figure for the unemployed, 15 year old and over, reached 3.27 million in November.

Statistics also found the rate for unemployed youngster, 15-24 year olds, to have seen a 3.3 percent decrease, settling at 19.3 percent.

The state budget was explained by Turkey's Finance Minister Naci Agbal to have undergone a USD451 million surplus in 2017 January from 2016 during the same period.
