(MENAFN) Both medical and military sources declared that a mosque was struck in an explosion that resulted in the death of two people and injury of 143, with children among them, in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi.
The Benghazi Medical Center alone had taken in 56 injured people, 12 among them were children, as the director of the center stated to Xinhua as he assured that they didn't take in any corpses. Al-Barghathi had also reported the death of one person and 55 wounded people earlier.
