Abu Dhabi's B&R project to acquire USD800m from China


(MENAFN) A Belt and Road project launched in Abu Dhabi is to receive over $800 million funds from 12 Chinese companies, pushing for the opening of over 2,000 job vacancies.

The companies have inked the deal with the Jiangsu Provincial Overseas Cooperation and Investment Company (JOCIC), the developer at the Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad).

For the purpose of improving practical partnership, China is to create the industrial cooperation demonstration park inside Kizad.

Jiangsu has also revealed its plan to construct the industrial park into a landmark program of the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative.
