Syrian opposition condemns US border

(MENAFN) The US-led coalition's plan to create a 30,000-strong border force on Syria's northern border with Turkey was greatly condemned by Syria's main opposition group.

In order to establish a border Security Force, Arab and Kurdish fighters from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) were working with the alliance fighting the Islamic State (IS).

The proposed force has been denounced by Damascus, meanwhile, Turkey promised to "smash" it.

The YPG head on Tuesday hit out at threats by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to attack his forces.
